Melvado cuts ceremonial and everyday African tailoring to the exact body — full three-piece agbada, senator sets, kaftans and family party sets. Two fittings, one standard: perfection. Women’s requests are handled by Melvado Femme, our sister house.

Consultation
A 30-minute call — virtual or at the Lagos studio — to read the occasion, silhouette and fabric.

Measurement
Twenty-two points taken in studio, or guided remotely with our measurement film.

Cutting
Fabric selected from our Aso-Oke, wool, cashmere-blend and cotton library, then hand-cut.

Two fittings
First fitting at the toile stage, final fitting before finishing and hand-pressing.
Lead time is three to four weeks for agbada and senator sets, two weeks for made-to-measure trousers and shirting. Rush commissions are possible — mention the date in your notes.
