Melvado is a house of tailoring built on one belief: the best-dressed man in the room is rarely the loudest.
The vision
We make clothes for the man who has nothing to prove. Who chooses drape over decoration, restraint over noise, and lets the cut of his trouser do the talking. Comfort, to him, is not a compromise — it is the whole point.
Melvado began in Lagos with a simple question: what does classic, well-made menswear look like when it is honest and within reach? We found our answer in the fall of a pleat, the weight of a hem, a colour card drawn from clay, bone and ink. Every piece is made in Nigeria, cut with intention and finished by hand — clean, considered, built to last, without the price tag of things that shout.
This is a wardrobe for the modern classic man: confident, unhurried, and comfortable enough in himself that he never needs to shout.
