The house
Melvado is a young African house built on an old idea: that clothing should be made slowly, in small numbers, by people who know the cloth. Each run is cut in Lagos, pressed by hand, and checked against the body it was drawn for.

Wide-leg trousers, pleated and unlined, in wool suiting, corduroy and cotton twill.
Modern African formalwear and shirting built on the same quiet proportions.
Chains, eyelets and hardware — the small metal punctuation of the house.
